Our Story
Amber Staples, CEO and founder of Stapled Events, graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana - Champagin, with a Bachelor's of Science in Advertising and Communication. She is an innovative, detail oriented, branding and events professional. Amber began her journey working as an Events and Promotional Specialist for the Bacardi Brand. She then ventured into Trade Show Sales and Corporate Events, until she accepted the role as the Business Development Director for a tech marketing start-up.
As the Director, Amber planned and executed business trade shows, including planning travel, booths, swag and teaming with Marketing for all promotional needs. Working in the corporate sector, Amber developed her skills in technology, budgeting and planning. It's no wonder that in 2016, Amber planned her own 250 person wedding. Planning her wedding was so fulfilling, that she began to venture into social events. She has planned a number of bridal showers, baby showers, bachelorettes, birthday parties and more.
In 2018, Amber started her business, Stapled Events, from scratch. With her leadership, passion and integrity, Stapled Events has grown tremendously in such a short time. Her creative ideas are always brewing, giving new energy to every event her team plans. Amber maintains a big picture philosophy with a focus on the goals and critical eye on the details. By working closely with diverse teams, Amber executes exceptional meetings and events that achieve business objectives and exceed expectations—all with seeming ease and efficiency.
